Maintenance Assistant – Dubai Ibn Battuta Mall

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join our Premier Inn hotel at Ibn Battuta Mall in Dubai. You will be responsible for handling all maintenance requests quickly and efficiently, ensuring the property remains safe, functional and welcoming for our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out regular inspections of the building, plant and equipment following daily checklists.
• Perform daily, general and emergency repairs covering electrical, plumbing, painting and carpentry tasks.
• Support preventative maintenance of fire protection systems and verify that safety features operate at peak efficiency.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and functionality throughout the hotel.

Required profile

• At least one year of experience in a hotel maintenance or engineering department.
• Hands‑on experience with property maintenance tasks such as electrical, plumbing, painting and carpentry.
• High school diploma (or equivalent) preferred.
• Good command of English.
