Maintenance Manager – Engineering (Hotel)

About the role

The Maintenance Manager will lead the engineering team at Holiday Inn & Suites Dubai Festival City, ensuring the hotel’s facilities operate safely, efficiently and to IHG standards. This role combines hands‑on technical oversight with strategic planning of preventive maintenance programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the entire hotel property, including building structure, mechanical, electrical, fire‑life‑safety (FLS) and HVAC systems.
• Implement and monitor energy‑conservation and preventive maintenance programmes.
• Conduct regular inspections and house tours to verify the condition of guest areas, public spaces and staff work areas.
• Coordinate repairs, replacements and renovation projects across offices and employee zones.
• Ensure compliance with IHG safety procedures, HACCP, Dubai Municipality and Civil Defence regulations.
• Provide training to other departments on energy management and maintenance best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing hotel or large‑scale facilities maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, FLS and HVAC systems.
• Ability to lead a team and work closely with other hotel departments.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to safety standards.
