Maintenance Manager

About the role

The Maintenance Manager will lead the engineering team at Jumeirah Creekside Hotel, ensuring that all property assets are maintained to the highest standards. This full‑time, onsite role reports to the Resident Engineer and plays a critical part in delivering a safe and efficient guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee daily engineering operations across the hotel.
• Implement and monitor the Jumeirah Engineering Management System (JEMS), including the Fire, Life and Safety Matrix, PPM and Work Order Systems.
• Supervise engineering supervisors and their teams, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Inspect completed repairs and maintenance work to verify standards are met.
• Handle staff grievances, suggestions and complaints, escalating to the Resident Engineer as needed.
• Prepare and submit monthly activity reports to the Resident Engineer.
• Perform any additional duties reasonably requested by management.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a 5‑star hotel environment.
• Mechanical or Electrical diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Proven ability to work in high‑volume, high‑occupancy settings.
• Strong communication skills across all organisational levels.
