Maintenance Mechatronics Engineer

About the role

Eaton is seeking a Maintenance Mechatronics Engineer to develop and execute maintenance strategies for automated production equipment in its Dubai hub. You will work with PLC‑controlled machines, robotics, and integrated systems to ensure high reliability and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance plans for PLC‑controlled equipment, robotic systems, HMI and industrial control hardware.
• Analyse downtime, MTBF and MTTR data to identify failure modes and drive reliability improvements.
• Lead structured root‑cause analysis (RCA, A3, 5‑Why) for automation and control issues.
• Support commissioning, industrialisation and lifecycle management of automated equipment.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimise control logic, system integration and machine performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience with automation, control and mechatronic systems in an industrial environment.
• Strong analytical skills for downtime analysis and reliability engineering.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams in root‑cause investigations.
