Maintenance Planner – IBM Maximo

About the role

Bilfinger Middle East is looking for an experienced Maintenance Planner to support critical process‑plant operations in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on using IBM Maximo to design, schedule and optimise maintenance workflows that minimise asset downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Review, prioritise and plan preventive (PM) and corrective (CM) work orders in Maximo.
• Build multi‑level job plans, estimate labour hours, define crafts/crews and specify required materials and tools.
• Configure PM records, set calendar‑based intervals and meter‑based triggers, and develop work‑back schedules for turnarounds and overhauls.
• Use Maximo Graphical Scheduler and Graphical Work Week applications to map resource capacity, sequence task dependencies and level manpower.
• Map material requirements within job plans and verify stock availability with central stores before field execution.

Required profile

• 3–4 years of hands‑on field experience maintaining process‑plant equipment.
• At least 1 year of dedicated work‑planning experience.
• Strong knowledge of CMMS systems, especially IBM Maximo.
• Prior experience in oil & gas, petrochemical or similar heavy‑industry environments is preferred.
