Maintenance Technician - Elevators and Escalators

About the role

KONE is seeking a Maintenance Technician for elevators and escalators in Dubai. The role involves delivering high‑quality service, ensuring equipment safety and performance, and maintaining proactive communication with customers on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Manage customer relationships by providing accurate on‑site communication (ETA, job details) and ensuring satisfaction.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance, planned service visits and emergency call‑outs on elevators and escalators.
• Report work performed in real‑time at the equipment level and submit timesheets.
• Identify and communicate site risks, take immediate action on high‑risk issues, and follow escalation procedures.
• Maintain safety standards for equipment, end‑users and the work site.
• Keep service tools, van and instruments in good condition.
• Support sales initiatives by raising opportunities to the supervisor.

Required profile

• ITI/Vocational Certificate or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Ability to work independently on‑site and follow maintenance and safety instructions.
• Strong communication skills for precise customer updates.

• Electrical troubleshooting of elevator and escalator systems.
• Preventive maintenance and routine inspections.
• Use of maintenance tools and equipment.
