Manager Aircraft Programmes - IFE & Connectivity

About the role

Etihad is seeking a senior manager to lead the specification, development, integration and delivery of In‑Flight Entertainment (IFE), connectivity and digital cabin services for new and existing aircraft in its fleet. The role ensures that all passenger technology solutions meet Etihad Guest Experience, operational and technical requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the IFE and connectivity specification process with aircraft manufacturers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Define and control configuration requirements for new and used aircraft entering the fleet.
• Lead end‑to‑end development, integration and certification of IFE systems, passenger connectivity services, onboard networks and content delivery platforms.
• Coordinate installation, testing, validation and entry‑into‑service activities at manufacturers and modification facilities.
• Oversee upgrade, retrofit and enhancement programmes, ensuring compliance with scope, budget and schedule.
• Lead supplier performance and relationship management, including contractual reviews and product support.
• Monitor performance, reliability and guest satisfaction metrics, driving continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing complex aerospace or aviation programmes.
• Strong stakeholder management across engineering, operations and commercial teams.
• Ability to handle certification, quality and regulatory requirements.
• Leadership skills to guide cross‑functional teams and external partners.
