Manager - Buyer Development

About the role

The Manager – Buyer Development will lead the identification, segmentation, acquisition and activation of food buyers across key UAE channels such as wholesale, distribution, retail and HORECA. The role will build a structured buyer universe for ADFH, translate buyer insights into commercial opportunities and support tenant success.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain a comprehensive UAE buyer database for ADFH.
• Develop and nurture relationships with priority food buyers and decision‑makers.
• Drive buyer acquisition, activation and matchmaking with ADFH tenants.
• Lead market‑activation programmes that convert buyer relationships into enquiries and transactions.
• Capture, analyse and communicate buyer intelligence to inform commercial strategy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain, Food Business, Economics or related field (MBA advantageous).
• Proven experience in buyer acquisition, account management or business development within the food sector.
• Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
