Manager - Construction & Installation

About the role

Penspen is seeking an experienced Manager to lead construction and offshore installation activities for ADNOC offshore projects in the UAE. The role ensures safe, timely, and cost‑effective delivery in line with project specifications, ADNOC standards, and international best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and deliver offshore construction and installation works.
• Oversee EPC contractor activities, including fabrication, transportation, and offshore installation.
• Ensure compliance with ADNOC HSE standards, project procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor schedules, progress, and resource allocation to meet project milestones.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, commissioning, and operations teams.
• Review and approve construction methodologies, installation procedures, and work packs.
• Manage offshore campaigns such as heavy lifts, hook‑ups, pre‑commissioning, and installation of structures, pipelines, and subsea systems.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies while maintaining quality assurance throughout all phases.
• Provide leadership and guidance to multidisciplinary teams and report performance metrics to senior management and ADNOC stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Offshore, Marine engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 20 years of experience in major oil & gas projects.
• At least 8 years of offshore construction and installation experience.
• Proven PMC experience on large‑scale offshore projects.
• Mandatory GCC experience, preferably on UAE/ADNOC projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.

Required skills

• Offshore construction techniques and installation methodologies.
• Experience with jackets, topsides, subsea systems, pipelines, and brownfield modifications.
• Familiarity with ADNOC standards and international codes (API, ISO, DNV).
• Project execution, risk management, and contractor supervision.
• Marine operations, heavy lifting, and offshore logistics.
