Manager Credit Control

About the role

The Manager Credit Control will lead the credit control function, driving performance improvements, optimizing working capital and ensuring robust internal controls. This senior finance role reports to Corporate Finance and works closely with Commercial, Operations, Treasury and Legal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee accounts receivable, credit control and collections to achieve timely cash conversion and compliance with credit policy.
• Optimize working capital metrics such as DSO, ageing and cash conversion cycle.
• Ensure proper provisioning for expected credit losses and bad debts in line with IFRS and group policy.
• Review and manage customer credit limits, payment terms and high‑risk exposures.
• Lead collections strategy, resolve customer disputes and maintain audit readiness.
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly and yearly closing activities according to corporate deadlines.
• Negotiate and manage relationships with delinquent customers to secure payment plans.
• Develop and mentor the credit control team, set KPIs and promote a culture of accountability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field; Master’s degree or professional qualifications (CPA, CMA, ACCA) are a plus.
• Minimum 6‑8 years of experience in credit control, accounts receivable or working‑capital management.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Expected Credit Loss (ECL) provisioning.
• Experience with audit processes and internal controls.
• Proficiency in credit risk assessment and working‑capital optimization.
