Manager – EV & Operations

About the role

We are looking for a Manager – EV & Operations to lead the electric‑vehicle fleet that powers Noon’s ultra‑fast delivery service across Dubai. You will ensure the EV fleet is available, efficient and well‑maintained to meet the demanding last‑mile delivery schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day performance, availability and utilization of the EV fleet across all delivery hubs and dark stores.
• Monitor vehicle health, range efficiency and operational metrics; establish processes for EV allocation, rider assignment and fleet rotation.
• Plan, deploy and maintain charging infrastructure, aligning charging schedules with rider shifts to minimise downtime and electricity costs.
• Coordinate with facility teams and external vendors for infrastructure upgrades and reliable charging operations.
• Manage relationships with EV manufacturers, battery providers, charging vendors and leasing partners, ensuring SLA compliance.
• Lead procurement and vendor negotiations to support fleet expansion and cost optimisation.
• Implement preventive maintenance programmes, track repair turnaround times and control maintenance costs.
• Support leadership in scaling the fleet and evaluate emerging technologies for a sustainable long‑term roadmap.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Engineering or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in logistics, consulting, engineering or delivery operations, preferably in e‑commerce, food delivery or last‑mile logistics.
• Strong negotiation and relationship‑management abilities.
• Data‑driven mindset with capability to analyse operational performance.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
