Manager – Indirect Procurement

About the role

The Manager, Indirect Procurement will lead strategic sourcing, category management and supplier negotiations for M42 Health’s indirect spend. Reporting to the Director of Indirect Procurement, the role focuses on delivering value for money, cost optimisation and developing UAE national talent.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement category strategies aligned with business and procurement objectives.
• Prepare and maintain category plans for assigned sub‑categories in collaboration with Finance and key stakeholders.
• Lead end‑to‑end sourcing activities, including RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, tendering processes, supplier evaluations and contract awards.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing and contracts to achieve optimal outcomes and cost savings.
• Monitor supplier performance, address commercial and operational issues and ensure compliance with procurement policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of procurement experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Proven experience managing indirect procurement categories within a large, complex organization.
• Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing, category management, supplier negotiations and contract management.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical and communication skills.
