Manager Insurance - Claims

About the role

Emirates is seeking a Manager Insurance – Claims to lead its global insurance claims function. Based in Dubai, you will oversee the recovery of claims across all insurance classes for Emirates Group and its joint‑venture companies, ensuring optimal financial outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Insurance Claims team to achieve timely recovery of claims for all insurance types (property, casualty, financial lines, marine, motor, life/personal accident, etc.).
• Analyse policy terms, conditions, exclusions and warranties to determine recovery potential and develop claim‑handling strategies.
• Coordinate notification of claims to underwriters, surveyors, loss adjusters, solicitors and third parties to meet statutory and contractual requirements.
• Provide technical advice and proactive support to business units worldwide on claim management and recovery processes.
• Interact with senior stakeholders across Emirates Group entities in the UAE and globally to brief on insurance dimensions and financial implications.

Required profile

• Extensive knowledge of insurance policies and claim recovery processes across multiple lines of cover.
• Strong analytical ability to evaluate policy language and assess recovery options.
• Proven experience managing a claims team in a multinational environment.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with internal and external parties at all levels.
