Manager Internal Audit

About the role

The Manager Internal Audit works closely with the Senior Manager Audit and Head of Audit to deliver the group’s internal audit strategy. The role leads audit engagements from planning through reporting, ensuring robust controls, corporate governance compliance, and alignment with strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an internal audit strategy that supports the Group’s strategic goals.
• Lead audit engagements, overseeing planning, fieldwork, reporting, and quality review of workpapers.
• Provide guidance to audit teams, address complex or high‑risk areas, and act as primary contact for audit stakeholders.
• Drive the use of data analytics (e.g., ACL) and embed continuous auditing practices.
• Coach and manage Audit Officers, ensuring skill development and performance improvement.
• Deliver ad‑hoc special projects and maintain up‑to‑date documentation of findings.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading internal audit engagements, preferably in a corporate or airline environment.
• Strong understanding of audit standards, corporate governance, and risk‑based auditing.
• Ability to communicate audit conclusions effectively to senior executives.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with accounting and auditing best practices.
