Manager - IT Business Partnering

About the role

The IT Business Partner acts as the bridge between Al Ghurair Foods’ business units and the IT Centers of Excellence, ensuring technology initiatives deliver measurable value aligned with the group’s strategic growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and translate business needs into demand for IT COEs.
• Develop and own the technology roadmap for digitisation, automation and AI that supports a two‑to‑three‑fold increase in volume and complexity.
• Coordinate delivery of COE solutions, ensuring they meet business readiness and benefit‑realisation targets.
• Standardise processes across commodity trading, shipping, food manufacturing, finance and risk functions.
• Serve as the technology anchor for the group’s strategic transformation, driving process standardisation and technology enablement.
• Collaborate with business leaders to monitor performance and adjust initiatives as required.

Required profile

• Mid‑management experience in IT business partnering or similar liaison roles.
• Deep understanding of commodity trading, shipping, food manufacturing and associated finance/risk processes.
• Proven ability to translate strategic objectives into executable technology roadmaps.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across diverse functional areas.

Required skills

• Hands‑on knowledge of end‑to‑end trade lifecycle, ocean freight and chartering operations.
• Experience with automation, AI implementation and large‑scale technology platforms.
