Manufacturing Quality Lead Associate

About the role

The Manufacturing Quality Lead Associate will oversee inspection activities across incoming, in‑process, final and dispatch stages for electrical components such as copper and breakers. Reporting to the QA/QC manager, the role ensures that all critical processes meet Vertiv’s quality, health, safety and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform 100 % inspections of incoming materials, in‑process work, final products and pre‑dispatch items.
• Conduct first‑off and hourly checks on defined critical processes to verify quality consistency.
• Document inspection results, log re‑work and waste, and enter data into the quality database.
• Identify and report quality, H&S and environmental non‑conformities.
• Maintain and calibrate measurement equipment according to operating instructions.
• Support production teams with in‑process checks and advise supervisors on industry standards.
• Maintain QA/QC records, attend internal audits and prepare meeting notes.
• Assist in developing training modules, risk assessments and SOPs for H&S and environmental activities.
• Mentor junior operators and promote adherence to the quality management system.

Required profile

• Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree.
• 3–4 years of experience in manufacturing quality inspection or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of electrical concepts and fabrication processes.
• Knowledge of QMS, EMS and OHSAS standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under production schedules.
