Marine Educator – Aquarium Guest Experience

About the role

The Marine Educator engages guests at The Lost World Aquarium, sharing knowledge about marine life and conservation while ensuring a safe, enjoyable environment.

Key responsibilities

• Interact with guests, delivering informal and formal conservation education programs to groups of any size.
• Maintain basic knowledge of marine species, aquarium systems, animal care, and conservation issues.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment, adhering to animal welfare and SOP guidelines.
• Utilize learning resources, conduct research, and present information to enhance guest experience.
• Gather guest feedback through surveys and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and ongoing personal development.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic and professional demeanor when engaging with diverse visitors.
• Basic understanding of marine animal species, aquarium operations, and conservation challenges.
