Marine Mammals Specialist – Entry Level

About the role

As a Marine Mammals Specialist at Atlantis, The Palm, you will support the care of resident Indo‑Pacific dolphins and other marine species while delivering memorable guest experiences. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on training in habitat maintenance, diet preparation, and animal observation.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain clean and safe marine mammal habitats.
• Prepare and portion diets according to veterinary guidelines.
• Monitor animal behavior and record observations daily.
• Assist with medication administration under supervision.
• Participate in interactive guest programs and educational talks.
• Keep accurate records of health, feeding, and maintenance activities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass an annual fitness test and be able to work outdoors in varying weather.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for animal welfare.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
