Market Access Manager

About the role

The Market Access Manager will lead the development and execution of strategies that secure and expand patient access to the company's pharmaceutical portfolio across the UAE. Reporting to senior commercial leadership, the role works closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to align pricing, reimbursement, and partnership initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement market access strategies to maximise product uptake.
• Engage with key opinion leaders, healthcare institutions and local authorities to understand access requirements.
• Develop and manage patient access programmes and strategic partnerships with healthcare providers.
• Identify and pursue collaboration opportunities with health authorities and initiate market‑access initiatives.
• Deliver health‑economic and value‑based training to field teams and communicate market‑access concepts through presentations.
• Collaborate with pricing teams to create pricing strategies aligned with regional market dynamics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or a related discipline.
• 3‑5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including at least 2 years in a market‑access function.
• Demonstrated experience managing anti‑infectives/antibiotics products.
• Strong knowledge of GCC regulatory policies and pricing frameworks.
• Established network with market‑access stakeholders and a solid customer base.

Required skills

• Understanding of health‑economic evaluation and value‑based pricing.
• Ability to develop and present strategic access plans.
• Proficiency in stakeholder mapping and partnership development.
