Marketing Manager – Build Launch Operations

About the role

We are launching our first market for reliable smartphones and after‑sales services. Based in Dubai, you will create the entire marketing operation from scratch, shaping brand assets, retail partnerships and acquisition strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Build the launch operation from zero, including brand assets, packaging, signage, shop openings and campaigns.
• Establish and manage retail and mobile‑operator partnerships.
• Own the marketing budget and cost‑per‑acquisition, measured per unit sold.
• Document the first market launch into a repeatable playbook for future expansions.
• Recruit, hire and lead country marketing managers as new markets come online.

Required profile

• 8+ years of marketing experience with full commercial ownership (budget, CAC, revenue).
• Proven track record of building a marketing operation where none existed.
• Hands‑on experience in African or comparable emerging consumer markets.
• Retail, distribution and mobile‑operator partnership experience.
• Experience hiring and leading in‑market marketing teams.
• Willingness to spend extended periods on‑site in launch markets (not a remote role).
