Master Technician – Used Car Preparation

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Master Technician to join the Automall Used Car Preparation team in the UAE. As the workshop’s technical expert you will diagnose complex vehicle issues, guide technicians and ensure repairs meet manufacturer standards.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose complex mechanical and technical vehicle problems and recommend appropriate repair solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support to junior and senior technicians.
• Ensure first‑time‑right repairs, reducing repeat jobs and return visits.
• Communicate findings and repair requirements clearly to service advisors, supervisors and customers.
• Coordinate with workshop stakeholders to facilitate efficient repair completion.
• Recommend improvements to processes, tools and equipment to boost productivity.
• Identify training needs and share technical knowledge with the team.
• Assist the Parts team in accurate identification and procurement of spare parts.

Required profile

• Trade Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Mechanical or Automobile Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a reputable automotive workshop.
• Strong technical and communication skills with ability to explain complex findings.
• Understanding of workshop quality, productivity and first‑time‑repair standards.
• Customer‑focused attitude and ability to work effectively in a busy environment.
