MCC Engineer – Sharjah

About the role

The Maintenance Control Center (MCC) Engineer will act as the central point for all aircraft maintenance activities across Air Arabia’s UAE hubs and outstations, operating on a 24/7 basis. The role ensures the fleet’s airworthiness and compliance with GCAA/CAA regulations while supporting operational continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor all maintenance tasks for Air Arabia and third‑party aircraft, ensuring timely completion and compliance with approved standards.
• Identify, assess, and report technical defects, managing AMP tasks and work package allocation across teams.
• Support Engineering Planning, STP, and QA teams in short‑ and long‑term fleet maintenance planning.
• Provide 24/7 technical guidance to line, base, and outstation maintenance staff and MROs.
• Deliver technical support to pilots and cabin crew during flight and on the ground.
• Ensure accurate recording of maintenance actions, radio communications, and logbook entries.
• Assist the MCC Manager in monitoring daily technical performance, generating trend reports, and recommending corrective actions.
• Participate in internal and external audits to ensure adherence to regulations and company policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in aircraft maintenance and technical troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of GCAA/CAA regulations and manufacturer manuals.
• Ability to work in a 24/7 operational environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with pilots, crew, and maintenance teams.
