Mechanical Design Engineer – Industrial Equipment

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to create detailed designs for industrial and custom equipment. You will work on projects across aluminium smelting, oil & gas, marine and renewable energy sectors, ensuring designs meet the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop detailed 3D mechanical models using SolidWorks and Solid Edge.
• Perform engineering calculations and finite‑element analysis (FEA) with ANSYS or SolidWorks Simulation to validate design integrity.
• Collaborate with project managers, estimators and production teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure all designs comply with ASME and ISO standards.
• Prepare Bills of Materials, technical documentation and support the procurement process.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design for industrial or custom equipment.
• Prior experience working in the UAE is mandatory.
• Open to candidates of any nationality.

Required skills

• Proficiency in SolidWorks, Solid Edge and AutoCAD.
• Hands‑on experience with FEA tools such as ANSYS or SolidWorks Simulation.
• Strong understanding of fabrication, machining and welding processes.
