Mechanical Engineer - Construction Supervision

About the role

AECOM is seeking a detail‑oriented Mechanical Engineer to join its construction supervision team in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for overseeing the installation of mechanical systems on site, ensuring compliance with engineering specifications, safety standards, and project schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate mechanical systems installation, including HVAC, plumbing, and equipment placement.
• Conduct regular site inspections to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
• Review and approve work performed by contractors and subcontractors, maintaining quality and adherence to project requirements.
• Identify and resolve technical issues in real time, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Maintain detailed construction documentation such as daily reports, inspection records, and progress updates.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines for seamless system integration.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, UAE construction regulations, and environmental compliance.
• Prepare and review mechanical inspection and testing reports to verify system performance.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
