Mechanical Engineer – Heavy Equipment

About the role

United Al Saqer Heavy Equipment is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support its Sales and Service divisions. The role offers structured on‑the‑job training in heavy‑equipment operations, allowing a recent graduate to develop technical expertise while contributing to customer solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in a comprehensive training programme covering equipment specifications, safety procedures and industry compliance.
• Assist sales teams in preparing technical proposals, product demonstrations and quotations, and support client meetings and site visits.
• Work with service engineers to inspect, diagnose and maintain heavy‑equipment machinery, including preventive‑maintenance scheduling and troubleshooting.
• Document technical findings, inspection reports and service records; support commissioning, testing and hand‑over of equipment to customers.
• Stay informed on new heavy‑equipment models and best practices, contributing to process‑improvement and safety initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, preferably obtained from a UAE university.
• 0–1 year of relevant experience; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to engage customers and work collaboratively across functions.

Required skills

• Fundamental mechanical engineering principles.
• Understanding of heavy‑equipment operation, maintenance and safety standards.
