Mechanical Engineer – High-Rise Building Project

About the role

The Mechanical Engineer – High-Rise Building Project will be responsible for designing, reviewing, and supervising mechanical systems for a high-rise development, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and building services. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and update mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with structural, architectural, and electrical teams.
• Ensure compliance with local codes, safety regulations, and project standards.
• Monitor site installation work and attend coordination meetings.
• Resolve technical issues and support testing, commissioning, and handover of mechanical systems.
• Assist in cost estimation, material selection, and contractor evaluation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering processes and documentation.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering with experience in building services and high‑rise projects.
• Proficiency in Machine Design and ability to evaluate and specify mechanical equipment and systems.
• Effective use of Computer‑Aided Design (CAD) tools.
• Project Management skills to plan tasks, track progress, and meet deadlines.
• Research & Development capabilities to assess new technologies and methods.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; professional certification is an advantage.
• Knowledge of relevant building codes, international standards, and safety regulations applicable in Dubai.
• Previous experience in large‑scale or high‑rise construction projects in the Middle East is preferred.
