Mechanical Engineer – HVAC & Fire Protection for Data Centers

About the role

BK Gulf is looking for a motivated Mechanical Engineer to join its Dubai team. The role focuses on the design, integration and delivery of HVAC, cooling, ventilation, pressurisation and fire‑protection systems for modular E‑Houses and data‑center projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems (HVAC, ventilation, cooling, pressurisation) for modular E‑House and data‑center units.
• Engineer fire‑protection solutions, including detection, alarm, suppression and fire‑rated compartmentation, in line with NFPA standards.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary deliverables with electrical, structural and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless fabrication and installation.
• Review and validate technical documents, equipment specifications and vendor submittals for code compliance.
• Support construction, testing and commissioning activities, resolve technical issues and ensure quality, safety and performance standards.
• Provide engineering guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from design through hand‑over.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in HVAC, fire‑protection or data‑center modular projects.
• Strong knowledge of international codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, IEC).
• Proven ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and manage technical documentation.
