Mechanical Engineer (Static & Rotating)

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer specialized in static and rotating equipment to join Star Services LLC in Abu Dhabi. The role involves providing technical support for design, installation and maintenance of mechanical systems for oil‑and‑gas projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop static and rotating mechanical equipment for diverse projects.
• Perform feasibility studies, risk assessments and cost‑benefit analyses.
• Prepare technical specifications, drawings and documentation.
• Ensure designs comply with ASME, API, ANSI and other relevant codes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to deliver on schedule.
• Inspect existing equipment, troubleshoot issues and support field operations.
• Provide technical assistance to clients throughout project execution.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with static and rotating equipment.
• Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards (ASME, API, ANSI).
• Proficiency in CAD and other engineering design tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Willingness to travel and work on‑site as required.
