Mechanical Inspector

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Mechanical Inspector to join our engineering team in Dubai. The role involves inspecting mechanical installations across commercial buildings, retail outlets, malls and renovation projects to ensure they meet project specifications, safety standards and quality requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site inspections of mechanical systems and components, verifying compliance with design drawings, specifications and local regulations.
• Identify, document and recommend corrective actions for any defects or non‑conformities.
• Review and validate mechanical drawings, specifications and work procedures.
• Collaborate with contractors, engineers and project managers to ensure timely and safe completion of works.
• Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports and project documentation.
• Monitor progress and quality of mechanical work throughout the construction phase.
• Enforce safety protocols during all inspection activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience in mechanical inspection, with at least 5 years in the UAE.
• Proven experience on commercial, retail and mall projects, including renovations.
• Valid UAE driving licence and personal vehicle.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, relevant codes and standards.
• Excellent communication and report‑writing abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
