Mechanical Technician – Maintenance

About the role

As a Mechanical Technician at Agthia, you will ensure that manufacturing equipment runs safely and efficiently, minimizing production downtime through preventive and corrective maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance on manufacturing machines.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain motors, pumps, bearings, conveyors, palletizers, and packaging equipment.
• Service key technologies such as Multivac machines and auxiliary systems.
• Monitor machine performance and drive operational efficiency improvements.
• Replace defective parts and ensure proper machine alignment and calibration.
• Support production teams during machine setup and change‑over activities.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and daily reports.
• Follow safety procedures and company maintenance standards.
• Coordinate with OEM service engineers when required.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial setting.
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, listening, speaking).
• Ability to work effectively with production teams and external service providers.
