Media Teacher

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Media Teacher to join GEMS Cambridge International School in Dubai. The successful candidate will deliver the Media Studies curriculum, inspire students with creative digital media projects, and contribute to the school’s vibrant learning community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess Media Studies lessons using a range of digital media tools and software.
• Integrate emerging technologies into classroom activities to enhance student engagement.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and students to support learning outcomes.
• Share best practices and contribute to professional development initiatives within the school.
• Promote a culture of creativity, sustainability and leadership among students.

Required profile

• B.Ed or equivalent subject‑related degree with PGCE/PGDE or comparable qualification.
• Proven experience teaching digital media and using multimedia technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to showcase outstanding classroom practice.
• Interest in career progression, leadership and sustainability.
• Creative, enthusiastic approach both inside and outside the classroom.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interaction with students and parents.
