About the role

Delta Insurance Services L.L.C is seeking a Medical Underwriter to join its Sharjah office. In this full‑time position you will evaluate medical information and risk factors to determine appropriate insurance terms, conditions, and premiums.

Key responsibilities

• Review medical records, reports, and related documentation for insurance applications.
• Analyze risk in line with underwriting guidelines and calculate suitable premiums.
• Document underwriting decisions accurately and maintain case files.
• Collaborate with brokers and internal teams to clarify medical findings and communicate decisions.
• Stay updated on medical underwriting practices, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in medical underwriting and insurance principles.
• Analytical ability to interpret medical data and risk factors.
• Clear, professional communication skills for interacting with brokers and stakeholders.
• Relevant academic background in insurance, healthcare, finance, or a related field.
• Attention to detail, sound judgment, and ability to handle confidential medical information responsibly.
• Familiarity with UAE regulatory requirements is a plus.
