MEP Construction Manager – UAE Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced MEP Construction Manager to lead mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire‑fighting works across multiple UAE projects. The role involves overseeing all phases from mobilization to handover, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with local standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all MEP construction activities on site.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams covering Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, and Fire Fighting.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
• Review drawings, specifications, method statements and material submittals.
• Monitor progress, manpower, productivity and resource allocation.
• Integrate MEP works with civil, structural and architectural disciplines to avoid conflicts.
• Oversee inspection, testing and commissioning of MEP systems.
• Ensure QA/QC and HSE compliance throughout the project.
• Resolve technical and construction issues on site.
• Coordinate procurement to guarantee timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Conduct regular site meetings and report progress to senior management.
• Manage subcontractors and ensure adherence to the approved programme.
• Support project planning, cost control and timely handover.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 15–20 years of MEP construction experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Proven track record on high‑rise residential, commercial and villa projects.
• Extensive experience managing large‑scale MEP teams and subcontractors.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction practices, standards and authority requirements.
• Excellent coordination, leadership and problem‑solving abilities.
