MEP Estimation Manager

About the role

The MEP Estimation Manager will lead the estimation and engineering team to produce accurate, competitive cost estimates for large‑scale mechanical, electrical and plumbing projects. This role works closely with senior management and project teams to ensure financial performance aligns with company objectives and client specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end estimation and tendering activities for MEP projects.
• Review project specifications, design documents and BOQ to ensure comprehensive cost estimation.
• Develop and maintain cost databases for materials, labour and subcontractors.
• Conduct value engineering, risk assessment and cost‑risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with procurement, design, and project teams to gather accurate cost data.
• Analyse market trends and competitor pricing to keep bids competitive.
• Oversee preparation of technical and commercial bid submissions ensuring compliance.
• Provide mentorship, training and performance improvement for the estimation team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering discipline.
• Proven experience leading estimation teams in the construction sector.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to assess project risks.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
