MEP QA/QC Manager

About the role

The MEP QA/QC Manager will lead quality assurance and control activities for electromechanical projects in Abu Dhabi. This full‑time onsite position ensures that all MEP installations meet the required standards, specifications, and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement project‑specific QA/QC plans, procedures and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) for MEP systems.
• Review drawings, specifications and standards to verify compliance of all installations.
• Conduct inspections of incoming materials and monitor subcontractors’ work for quality adherence.
• Maintain comprehensive QA/QC documentation, including inspection reports, material approvals, method statements, test results and non‑conformance reports.
• Prepare and submit regular quality reports to Project Management.
• Coordinate testing and approvals with third‑party laboratories and certification bodies.
• Manage calibration records for MEP testing equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement and construction teams to integrate quality at every project stage.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and authorities for inspections, approvals and handover documentation.
• Attend site coordination meetings, witness testing and commissioning, and ensure final inspections and snagging are completed before handover.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in MEP construction within the UAE.
• Ability to relocate to Abu Dhabi.
