Middle East and India IFI Commercial Management Developer

About the role

RINA is seeking a Middle East and India IFI Commercial Management Developer to join its Consulting IFI Commercial and Tender Management Division in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on business development and commercial management for projects funded by International Financial Institutions across energy, decarbonisation, civil infrastructure and mobility sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor investment programmes in the Middle East and assess priorities in energy, infrastructure and mobility.
• Collaborate with operational technical units to evaluate opportunities launched by IFIs.
• Prepare and coordinate Expressions of Interest and proposals for open and restricted tenders from DFIs, lenders and investors.
• Build and maintain a local network of partners, experts and subcontractors to assemble project teams.
• Support RINA’s promotional and commercial activities with DFIs and potential partners.
• Understand DFI tendering procedures and contribute to meeting their requirements.
• Prepare internal activity reports and facilitate networking with RINA’s DFI team in Italy and other operational units.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or a related technical field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum two years of experience in consultancy and funded project proposals.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Basic knowledge of the International Financial Institutions market is advantageous.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
