About the role

GEMS Winchester Private School in Fujairah is seeking a dedicated Middle School Maths Teacher to start in August 2026. The successful candidate will join a vibrant international community and contribute to delivering high‑quality mathematics education to students aged 11‑14.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess mathematics lessons in line with the British and National Curriculum for England.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and school leadership to support student progress.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development and school events.
• Maintain accurate records of student achievement and attendance.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of teaching experience in a British‑curriculum school.
• Bachelor of Science in Mathematics (minimum three‑year programme) and a recognised teaching qualification such as B.Ed, PGCE or QTS.
• Strong commitment to excellence in teaching and learning.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

Required skills

• Proficiency in delivering the British National Curriculum for Mathematics.
