Multiple Back-of-House Kitchen Positions – Dubai

About the role

SLAB Restaurant, a new hospitality concept launching in Dubai, is building its back‑of‑house team from the ground up. The restaurant is hiring for multiple kitchen positions, ranging from Sous Chef to Kitchen Steward, to support a fast‑paced, high‑quality dining operation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Assist senior chefs in daily kitchen operations and plating.
• Maintain clean and hygienic workstations, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Manage inventory, receive deliveries, and store supplies properly.
• Support pastry production and bakery sections where applicable.
• Perform general kitchen cleaning and waste disposal tasks.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in similar restaurant or hotel kitchen roles (mandatory).
• Degree, diploma or equivalent culinary qualification.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, pre‑opening environment.
• Selective nationalities accepted as per UAE employment regulations.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of kitchen operations.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
• Basic inventory and store‑keeping skills.
