About the role
Following a successful launch, American Gulf School in Sharjah is expanding its music programme and seeks an inspirational, dynamic Music Teacher to deliver high‑quality instruction to primary/secondary students.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging music lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
- Integrate technology and digital tools into classroom activities.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and staff to support student development.
- Participate in school events, concerts, and extracurricular music activities.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Music (minimum); Master’s degree preferred.
- At least 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in an American or IB school.
- Native‑level English proficiency or IELTS 8.0+.
- Creative, innovative thinker with strong engagement skills.
Required skills
- Ability to integrate educational technology into music lessons.
