About the role
GEMS World Academy Dubai is seeking a qualified MYP/DP Psychology teacher to cover a maternity leave, starting in August 2026. The successful candidate will join a highly regarded Psychology department known for its forward‑thinking curriculum, data‑driven approach, and strong student support. This is a temporary, on‑site position based in Dubai.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver Psychology lessons for MYP and DP students.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the department’s data‑driven curriculum development.
- Offer personal and academic guidance to students as needed.
Required profile
- Bachelor of Education or equivalent degree with a teaching qualification in Psychology (e.g., PGCE, PGDE).
- Minimum three years of secondary/high school Psychology teaching experience.
- Understanding of the IB MYP/DP framework is preferred.
- Availability to start in August 2026.
- Already holding a UAE work visa.
