Network Engineer – Enterprise Infrastructure

About the role

VaporVM is looking for a proactive Network Engineer to join its IT team in Dubai. You will be responsible for maintaining a secure, high‑performance enterprise network that supports the organization’s daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, manage and troubleshoot LAN, WAN, routers, switches and firewall devices.
• Monitor network performance, availability and overall system health.
• Diagnose and resolve connectivity and performance issues.
• Configure and maintain VLANs, VPNs, DHCP, DNS and TCP/IP services.
• Perform routine maintenance, upgrades and configuration changes.
• Implement and monitor security measures to protect the infrastructure.
• Maintain accurate network documentation and configuration records.
• Coordinate with internal IT teams and external vendors to resolve technical issues.
• Provide technical support for network‑related incidents and service requests.
• Ensure compliance with IT security standards and best practices.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of professional experience in network engineering or administration.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, Network Engineering or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience with routers, switches and firewall management.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
• CCNA certification or equivalent is an advantage.

Required skills

• TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs and routing protocols.
• Network monitoring and performance optimization tools.
• Network security concepts, best practices and access controls.
