Network & Security Manager

About the role

Aldar Education is looking for a seasoned Network & Security Manager to lead the design, implementation and protection of its LAN/MAN/WAN infrastructure across its schools in the UAE. You will ensure the network aligns with the Group’s five‑year technology roadmap and supports the organization’s mission of delivering world‑class education.

Key responsibilities

• Manage LAN, MAN and WAN data and communication networks, including interior and exterior gateway protocols.
• Oversee firewalls, antivirus solutions, load balancers, and multiple Internet ingress/egress paths.
• Maintain satellite and branch‑office connectivity and ensure alignment with the five‑year technology plan.
• Develop, enforce and regularly update network and security policies.
• Conduct security assessments and recommend mitigation measures.
• Ensure IT Disaster Recovery solutions are tested, updated and operational during incidents.
• Perform proof‑of‑concepts and assessments for upgrades, conversions and infrastructure improvements.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing enterprise‑scale network and security environments.
• Strong understanding of LAN/MAN/WAN architectures and security best practices.
• Ability to develop and enforce network policies and disaster‑recovery procedures.
