Nursing Unit Manager – Outpatient Department

About the role

Mediclinic Dubai Mall is seeking a Nursing Unit Manager for its Outpatient Department (OPD). The role leads the nursing team to deliver patient‑centric, evidence‑based care while ensuring operational efficiency and positive patient experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership and management guidance to the nursing team.
• Ensure evidence‑based patient care practices align with clinical standards.
• Develop employees and foster an environment that promotes team engagement and positive patient experiences.
• Manage clinical and non‑clinical resources cost‑effectively to enhance safe patient care.
• Monitor compliance with legislative, regulatory and clinical standards to drive continuous quality improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (or Diploma); Master’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
• 3‑5 years senior nursing experience in OPD and at least five years in senior nursing leadership.

Required skills

• Knowledge of UAE Labour Law.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Understanding of cost management principles.
• Experience with quality management and governance standards.
• Risk management principles and best practices.
• Stock control principles and management.
• Familiarity with UAE healthcare regulatory framework.
• Workforce planning and scheduling.
