OES Team Leader (Aviation Engineering)

About the role

The OES Team Leader will support the OES Manager in delivering technical expertise for CNS (Communication, Navigation, Surveillance) systems across ATC and ATE operations. The role also provides project support for both DANS and Dubai Airports, ensuring all activities comply with relevant manuals, regulations and standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide efficient technical support to ATC and ATE operations for current and future CNS systems.
• Ensure compliance with CNS manuals, local, national and international regulations, and ICAO standards.
• Guide the Head of ATE on engineering configuration, future technology needs and resource planning.
• Participate in change‑management processes and project support activities.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of GCAA Civil Aviation Regulations and ICAO recommended practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of ATE specialist experience in a senior role.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Relevant certificates of competency on ATE systems and equipment; all Level 2 competencies current.
• OJTI qualification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong knowledge of ATC procedures and airport driving permit (ADP).

Required skills

• Technical knowledge of Communications, Navigation, Radar, ATM and other airport systems.
• Experience with Surveillance systems, Long‑Range Radar, Short‑Range Radar, WAM/MLAT and ADS‑B.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematic diagrams.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite.
