Offshore Methods Draftsman

About the role

Saipem is seeking an Offshore Methods Draftsman with extensive experience in offshore transportation and installation, particularly in shallow‑water activities such as S‑Lay, jacket, deck, cable and structure installation. The role focuses on producing detailed drawings and layouts that support the safe and efficient installation of offshore assets.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare anchor pattern drawings for the mooring of offshore vessels.
• Develop transportation and installation drawings for offshore pipelines.
• Create detailed layouts for offshore jackets, decks and bridges.
• Design transportation plans for vessels and cargo barges.
• Coordinate the transportation and installation of piles, risers, J‑tubes, sleepers and mattresses.
• Support the design of subsea facilities, including pipelines, flexible products and subsea structures.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mechanical, Civil or related Engineering discipline.
• 5‑10 years of experience in offshore installation engineering.
• Fluent English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Project.
• Strong knowledge of offshore transportation and installation codes (DNV, API).
