Offshore Methods Installation Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Offshore Methods Installation Engineer to lead the engineering and execution of offshore transportation and installation activities for major oil & gas projects in the Middle East. The role involves preparing detailed installation packages, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and supporting vessel operations from mobilization through testing and commissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare complete engineering installation packages, including procedures, rigging drawings, check‑lists, trial‑lift and load‑out plans.
• Coordinate with naval, structural and pipelay analysis engineers, reviewing analysis and design reports.
• Manage the operation phase, covering material procurement, vessel mobilization and subcontractor contracts.
• Provide technical assistance to vessel management teams during offshore and onshore installation phases.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers and draftsmen in the preparation of installation documentation.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mechanical, Civil or related engineering discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in the oil & gas industry, with 5‑10 years focused on installation engineering.
• Proven track record on EPCI projects for Middle East clients such as Saudi Aramco, QP, QG, ADNOC.
• Strong knowledge of offshore transportation & installation codes (DNV, API).
