Oncology Surgeon Consultant

About the role

The Dubai Health Authority seeks an experienced Oncology Surgeon Consultant to deliver the highest quality of patient care within its hospitals and outpatient clinics. The role involves direct clinical responsibilities, teaching, and participation in quality and research activities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical and surgical care to patients referred for oncologic conditions.
• Perform interventional procedures and surgeries in line with departmental privileges.
• Monitor and manage patient care on hospital wards and in outpatient settings.
• Lead departmental teaching programs, seminars, and promote clinical research.
• Participate in peer review, quality initiatives, and administrative meetings as required.
• Stay current with emerging procedures and techniques in oncology surgery.
• Promote health education and support junior staff development.
• Undertake any other duties within the scope of expertise.

Required profile

• Graduation from an accredited medical school.
• Recognized Membership, Fellowship, Board certification, or equivalent in surgical oncology.
• More than 10 years of relevant clinical experience.
