About the role

Join Standard Chartered in Dubai as an Operational Risk Analyst, focusing on the identification, assessment, and mitigation of operational and technology risks across the bank. This full‑time position supports the development of a robust risk management framework, ensuring regulatory compliance and delivering value to clients and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Support enterprise‑wide identification, assessment, and monitoring of operational and technology risks through detailed analysis and reporting.
• Prepare risk reports, dashboards, and governance materials for senior management.
• Track key risk indicators, emerging trends, incidents, and evaluate control effectiveness.
• Collaborate with business units to enhance risk awareness and embed risk considerations into processes.
• Conduct risk and control assessments, follow up on remediation plans, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Participate in incident management, root‑cause analysis, and integrate lessons learned into risk frameworks.
• Assist regulatory compliance efforts, audit preparations, and governance reporting.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the operational risk framework, policies, and standards.
