Operational Risk Associate – Fresh Graduate

About the role

This risk management position supports the implementation of ADIB Group’s Operational Risk Management (ORM) framework, with an initial focus on incident management. It is open to UAE national fresh graduates.

Key responsibilities

• Provide proactive support to the Operational Risk Management team on all matters.
• Assist businesses in managing operational risk incidents and losses.
• Facilitate identification and assessment of key operational risk exposures in line with ADIB’s ORM framework.
• Support the management of issues and timely implementation of corrective actions.
• Help identify and assess key risk indicators.
• Update and monitor operational risk data using the Group ORM platform.
• Collate data for regular reports on operational risk profiles, analysis, and exposures.
• Support the implementation and development of ORM tools such as Risk & Control Self‑Assessment, KRIs, incident management, and issues & actions management.
• Assist in implementing ORM policies and procedures across ADIB Group.

Required profile

• Ability to collaborate with co‑workers and business stakeholders.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Highly self‑motivated with a rapid learning ability.
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills, including qualitative and quantitative analysis.
• Relevant degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
• UAE national fresh graduate status.
