Operations Executive & Installation Mechatronics Engineer

About the role

Rayqube is looking for a versatile professional who can combine hands‑on installation work with high‑level mechatronics engineering. The role bridges field execution and technical design, ensuring immersive experiential installations are delivered safely, reliably, and on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design of mechatronic systems, create detailed technical schematics and drawings.
• Manage on‑site deployment: cable management, rigging, mounting of mechanical and electronic components.
• Develop and program embedded control solutions using Arduino or Raspberry Pi platforms.
• Integrate mechanical structures with actuators, sensors and control protocols such as DMX.
• Oversee rack assembly, power distribution and signal routing for complex event technology setups.
• Coordinate with vendors, fabrication partners and creative agencies to realise ambitious concepts.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, electrical codes and live‑event safety regulations (CE, UL, ISO, OSHA).

Required profile

• Proven experience in both technical installation (cabling, rigging, equipment mounting) and mechatronics engineering.
• Strong ability to translate design concepts into reliable on‑site implementations.
• Familiarity with safety and compliance requirements for live events.
